Questions for both teams
Did the initiator provide rescheduling options for this game and, if so, what were they?
*
Reason/ circumstances that prevented the successful reschedule of this game.
*
Have both coaches agreed to count the scrimmage game in place of the appealed game? If so, explain the terms of the agreement.
*
For teams that want to make the scrimmage game official in place of the the appealed game
The scrimmage game was intended for weather cancelations only. Coach agreements will be taken into consideration by the executive board but the consequences for cancelled games are determined by the board independent of any agreement between coaches. The standard consequence for a cancelled game is forfeiture and a $500 fine against the initiator of the game change.
If both organizations have agreed to make the scrimmage game
official in place of the cancelled game, both organizations must confirm the following statements:
1. I understand that the first game listed on the original ACEL published schedule is the scrimmage game (regardless of when that game may have been rescheduled) and does not count if the final game(s) (2 in-district, 1 out-district) are played.
*
I understand, and agree to count the scrimmage game as official.
I did not understand which games counted, and I do not agree to count the scrimmage game as official.
2. I understand that if I do not agree to count the scrimmage game in place of the appealed game, that the appealed game will be declared a forfeit for the initiating team.
*
I understand, and I agree to count the scrimmage game as official.
I understand, and I DO NOT agree to count the scrimmage game as the official game.
3. I understand that my decision is final and that no additional information for this game will be considered.
*
I understand that my decision to count the scrimmage game as official is final.
I DO NOT want to make a final decision to use the scrimmage game as the official game at this time.
The board will review appeals on a first come, first serve basis. The executive director will notify you once an appeal for has been received by both teams.
