New Golf Commissioner
The ACEL is excited to announce that Danny Higdon has been appointed the new golf commissioner. Starting golf at 14, and becoming a scratch golfer by 17, he credits much of his growth to those who gave of their time to teach him the game. He has worked with players from 5 years of age to Division 1 college golfers, and he served as Vice President of the First Tee of Cenla for 4 years. Danny Higdon is a husband and father of 5 residing in the Pineville, LA area. He is excited about driving the adoption and growth of golf within ACEL due to his personal life experience. He looks forward to bringing this opportunity to young golfers across ACEL. ​
